Perfectly reasonable thinking. Conversely, I think all of our new players will be playing for a place and looking to impress. And because they're all new, all of the old negativity will be gone, which will counteract any advantage they have from being a settled side. If we lose and then go into the Man Utd game with confidence fragile we could find ourselves down at the bottom before we even get started in our bright new era! A win would be great, but I think we need to avoid defeat.. Having said that though, I fancy us to win 4-1 or 4-2, we've got goals in us now and I think the new boys will all want to make an impression. VillaChris Posted August 2, 2015 Share Posted August 2, 2015 Actually interested how we do away from home this year and what tactics Sherwood plays e.g. does he stick with as much pace and counter attack as that has served us well over the last few years.
