He has been terrible and similar to a Sunday league defender. Well yeah actually it does matter that he has been terrible, if he plays like he did in his last two games on Saturday then there will be uproar from Villa fans. Team seemingly picks it self with injuries to potential key attacking players Grealish/Gil and Gabby. I could see Gabby being squeezed out in all honesty. But Gueye and Amavi have looked like they have started gelling with the rest of the current squad so I'd suggest they will start. I doubt whether Hutton will be able to maintain the form he showed last season and Richards at CB is obviously a risk. But he WILL be playing there, people suggesting we move him to RB and sign a replacement are mad. He just signed five minutes ago with assurances he'd play CB. Hopefully he and Hutton can push on and prove everyone wrong. The midfield three picks itself I would have thought. Ayew will be a starter and if Grealish and Gil aren't ready then Sinclair is a good alternative. Kozak might get a chance on Saturday. I haven't seen him play pre-season but if he's done well then fair enough. If we sign Adebayor today or tomorrow I'd expect him to play.
