We just signed one striker, and we are about to sign another. Plus I believe if we had any real interest in Berbatov, it would be all over the papers for a while now. With respect to Stan this will be the 2nd pants signing he has recommended after tonev. Poor signing, give. briny_ear Posted July 29, 2015 Share Posted July 29, 2015 Quite a good negative/knee-jerk thread, chaps, but would have been even better if someone had posted "sign Berba ans we are relegated" (as in the Adebayor thread). Personally, I think Berba is a fantastic player and I would love to see him in a Villa shirt. If he is on a free and wants to have one last blast in the Premier League, what's to lose?
