It makes sense mate. If you give 60% chance for them to stay separately, them both staying is 0,6 x 0,6 = 0,36 => 36%.

You'd have to be much more confident for them to stay (separately), even 70% for each only gets you to 49%.

Sorry, dumb post. It's late.

Certainly looks like a 50/50.

Sure they'll get him if they want to, but they hardly want him to replace De Gea?

If true, then you'd think they do. Maybe been priced out of moves for prefered targets so they'll use him as a cheaper stop-gap and see how it goes. He doesn't warrant such a move after the previous couple of seasons however.

Apparently Alan Nixon has said no one else will pay the asking price for Amavi and another player incoming next week.

Is that another signing besides Amavi and Gueye?

Possibly Praet??

Chery

The way I read it, Nixon seems to indicate it is another player seperate of Amavi or Chery. Not Praet though because he earlier said he wasn't aware of that link.

Aston Villa out muscling clubs financially. I like the idea of it, can't remember the last time it happened.

That or we're paying over the odds for players other clubs don't rate enough to pay that much.
