CrackpotForeigner
I think individually there's a better than even chance of Delph and Benteke staying. Both staying might be less likely, but I think they are each more likely to stay than go, if that makes sense. Not ITK, just my guess.
AVTuco Posted July 4, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 4, 2015 It makes sense mate. If you give 60% chance for them to stay separately, them both staying is 0,6 x 0,6 = 0,36 => 36%. You'd have to be much more confident for them to stay (separately), even 70% for each only gets you to 49%. Sorry, dumb post. It's late.

omariqy
I'm on mobile but it's a conversation with a Villa fan and he says no other team will go to 9m. Also Chelsea looking at an alternative for Begovic. Not a done deal.

useless
Apparently Alan Nixon has said no one else will pay the asking price for Amavi and another player incoming next week.

Isa
Sure they'll get him if they want to, but they hardly want him to replace De Gea? If true, then you'd think they do. Maybe been priced out of moves for prefered targets so they'll use him as a cheaper stop-gap and see how it goes. He doesn't warrant such a move after the previous couple of seasons however. Zatman
I expect Valdes to be United No.1 so he probably be back up as well
villan-scott Posted July 5, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted July 5, 2015 Aston Villa out muscling clubs financially. I like the idea of it, can't remember the last time it happened.
DCJonah
Richards, Sinclair and Gueye are good signings. But this one would feel like a game changer if we can pull it off.

Isa
Chery The way I read it, Nixon seems to indicate it is another player seperate of Amavi or Chery. Not Praet though because he earlier said he wasn't aware of that link.

That or we're paying over the odds for players other clubs don't rate enough to pay that much.
limvillian
When you are in the position Villa are in sometimes you will have to pay a little bit more than other clubs to get good players.
