Very true, I wonder if his enthusiasm is lifted slightly then, or perhaps he thinks some investment now and a higher league position will generate more sale value. Sherwood did say after the cup final with his losers quotes he was going to overhaul the squad and the impression I got was it wasn't just going to be free transfers and punts from minor leagues. Even last few years we've usually spent around 20m net so when you add in selling some of the squad players that's about 30m so 4 players in the 7-8m range plus Richards on a free.
