As the title says. A place to discuss the positives and negatives of the season, memories, best players, worst players etc.

It's been a long old season. Thank god its over!

P.S Mods, I forgot to add tags, now I can't figure out how to fix it. Apologises.

Good start, nightmare 5 months and good ending.

Was horrible being a Villa fan until Tim turned up, he made watching the team enjoyable again. It used to be a painful chore and now we have a cup final next week

17th would have been a dream come true 3-4 months ago when relegation looked inevitable, but the past couple of results have been a disappointing end to the season.

Still, we got through it, we have a cup final to look forward to, and a summer for Sherwood to reshape the squad. And hopefully the useless **** who owns us will have sold up by August.

Awful season, far worse than the previous 4 unless we win the cup.

High- Semi Final

Low- 1-0 loss against Newcastle

surely the low was all them weeks without scoring a goal

Was so bad my high of the season was OKore goal against Chelsea :P

Yet another season to erase from the memory at the moment.

However The semi final was an absolutely fantastic experience and the final is a one off game where anything can happen.

If we win next week this season will be one of the best in my lifetime.

The crazy nature of football

Newcastle for me due to the fact it was our 7th loss in a row and Sherwoods 2nd match and loss. The 0-0 draw against Palace is also up there. Another is bringing on another cb to defend a 0-0 draw against West Ham

Impossible to say right now - need to do this after the final.

BUT

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezussss I am glad we are in the prem. One more game and we would have been down. This CANNOT happen again.

the last 2 are pretty low but I cant remember them games actually happened, maybe thats a good thing. Sunderland was a travesty, both teams should have been automatically relegated that day for how crap the game was

Horrible season for the fifth time in a row. Sherwood came in and saved us but these last two games have been back to the same old. If we somehow manage to win the FA Cup he'll be an absolute hero at Villa.

Still we have the FA Cup final to look forward to but we will need HUGE improvement from our last two games if we are not going to get humiliated.

First 4 games- Brilliant

After the win at Anfield to the defeat at Hull- **** woeful, worse than anything that was served up under Mcleish.

From Sherwood's appointment onwards- Enjoyable, some fantastic results but with 1 or 2 lows.
