I'm not sure I follow what's happening re: wildcards, because I thought I'd played one, and I can only assume that's the reason my average is so high, but if I didn't, or if I get another one, can I please play it this week?

Your average is high because you've only played a few games and have not had time for your true ability to average out :P

and wildcards were a bit of an arbitrary thing, one per half season to add some "spice" to the world of predicting.

It's been a show up for anyone who likes accys like me, out of a possible 30 points per week on average, I score about 6 or so ( admittedly, my average is at the lower end, but even so, shows how hard it is to predict accurately ).

Indeed out of a possible maximum of 1140 ( or 1200 ) with wildcards used, the top score is going to be around 320. Still bloody good mind.

Anyway, glad people have persisted with this, it would have been a bit shit if only 4 or 5 were doing it through the season  :D
