OutByEaster? Posted May 19, 2015 Moderator Share Posted May 19, 2015 4,10,2 for me. There are some pretty average goals in there to be fair, which probably says something about our season. Just out of interest, what's the Lambert/Sherwood ratio on those?
VillaChris
How did that Clark header get in?! Surprised the Delph first goal against WBA missed out, thought that was quite a good move.
The Fun Factory
Tricky choice but for the quality it has to be Gill. Sinclair's, Delph's and Cleverley meant a lot though. Thanks for the memories guys. More next season please!
benireduk
Surprised Delph v WBA didn't get in. Great run by Zog and a great finish by Fab. Also like Benteke's second v QPR. Great break and a class finish. Most strikers would've panicked in the situation but he was calmness personified Edited May 19, 2015 by benireduk

AVTuco Posted May 19, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) I'll take a little bit of a different route and pick number 7: Benteke's freekick versus QPR. Not only was it a perfect strike, it was also a huge goal at a very difficult time. One of our turnaround goals. myko
I will be voting for Gil's, not just because it was pure class, but also in some vague hope it will remind him the fans haven't forgotten about him as I think if he pushed for a move in the summer he would get one. Big big fan. Edit: Also, I think Sanchez's inclusion shows how poor we were for the majority of this season Edited May 19, 2015 by myko
ThunderPower_14
Gil was definitely my favourite. We'd almost forgotten what goals looked like and we get reintroduced with an absolute stunner like that. I really hope Sherwood gives Gil a decent run in the side next season
the_eristic
Gil, immaculate technique, absolutely unsavable Cleverly, Tom's great driving run found by that world class through ball Delph, brilliant movement and execution from everyone involved
Ponky
I went for Benteke's first vs QPR. Just does it all himself at a time when he was getting zero assistance from anyone around him.

Guest av1
top three in this order 1) Gil vs Bournemouth - brilliant solo effort 2) Cleverley vs Everton - great sweeping counter attack and lovely pass and finish 3) Delph vs Liverpool - brilliant team move that ****** up Stevie G's birthday! This is also my top

Czechlad
I voted Gil but Benteke's goal against Man U was a close 2nd. The trap then finesse with the left foot took a lot of skill. I also really liked Clark's goal.
Villanun
For the skill of the shot, Gil. But for how it made me feel at the time, and how it still makes me feel to watch it again now, Cleverly.

John
Delph, Gil and Cleverley for me with Sinclair a close 4th. I agree with dakid 007 above that the FA Cup winner will be likely to be the best goal of them all. Who would have thought 3 months ago that we would have so many goals to choose from?
