Club Wembley

I asked this on the semi-Final thread but that is now deleted.

I'd appreciate input from people who used Club Wembley for the semi.

What is it like to drink in there for a couple of hours pre-match?

What are the prices like?

What is the beer like?

Did anyone eat in there?

What was the food like and how much was it?

Thanks in advance

Yeah great-Just found it.

The last post was by your good self, advising people to use the final thread, which I have done.

So other than being pedantic, your point is what exactly?

I'm not sure pointing out something simply not as fact is being pedantic, lol.

I'm toying with the idea now that I've found out you can simply get in the lift and go up or down a level.

Few lads I know done this for the semi when they found out they were in the Liverpool end and went and stood with fellow fans in the upper and lower tiers.

Just snagged myself a ticket. What's the dress code?

No replica shirts. Apart form that it's whatever you want.

I wore a villa scarf and nobody seemed to mind. Plenty of Liverpool scarves knocking around too. People are more discrete about it though I guess.

But yeah, apart from the shirts there is no dress code.

Damn it, you could have told him anything! Could have got him wearing a top hat, monocle, and a mankini...

Thought you were the person to ask... what's the deal with celebrating?

Go wild and fist pump in the face of the nearest arsenal fan to you!

Go **** mental.

Nobody seemed to care.

We were a little wary because we were in the Liverpool end, but once we scored we forgot all that. Nobody seemed to mind. The fans in the proper stand didn't seem to notice us, and the Liverpool fans around us were good natured enough (which seemed to be a theme amongst their fans to be fair)

If you're in the villa end then there will be absolutely no problem.

I was in club wembley for the semi final.

I was more raucous than I would have been in the Villa end.

There are very few neutral's in CW for these games, the tickets are mostly snapped up by fans.

Any trouble between rivals fan's in CW is a symptom of an incompetent FA and their inability to budget for the stadium in the first place.

Go nuts, honestly, no-one cares

I was in Club Wembley for the semi and I am again for the final.

I sat in the Villa end of the ground at the semi and it was all Villa around me although when Liverpool scored there were a few of them a couple of blocks along. My friends were sat at the Liverpool end and had no problems, in fact we all celebrated widely in a mixed bar (Bar West) afterwards without a hint of trouble.

As others have said no replica shirts allowed but saw plenty of people wearing scarfs etc, they sell team merchandise in the ground.

Loads of food options available and bars, some with leather sofas! The only negative was the beer itself, only Bud and Guinness on draught at £5 pint. Guinness was ok but Bud was piss. Mind you the Shampoo afterwards tasted great, hoping for more in 2 weeks time! UTV
