Mourinho also smashed the record for most goals in a La Liga season.

Why? They are one step closer to the title. I have no problems with celebrations like that. Arsenal have done it in the past celebrating 4th spot. It happens.

Indeed, it does happen....

... but usually when you have actually achieved 1st, 4th, whatever - not when you snuck a bore draw away from home.

doesnt work like that though, mourinho for as long as i can remember operates on a knowing how not to lose style of football, he'll happily beat the lower half of the table, have a great home record, and then get 0-0 draws or 1-0 wins vs everyone around them

it wins titles at the end of the day but its horrific to watch at times, chelsea it is what it is, their defence is stronger than their attack (especially with costa out) so its playing to their strengths, when he was at madrid though where their attack was far stronger than their defence...unacceptable, he nearly killed the classico too, his tactics vs barca was simply ruin the game

In fairness barca also had a hand in ruining those games with petulant diving and play acting.

Yet last season he lost the title due to points dropped against shite teams like us, Palace, Norwich, Albion etc. whereas he did the double against the two sides that finished above Chelsea. Since his return he hasn't lost one game against the top-four sides. His approach is vindicated on that basis.

Yes theres a lot of criticism of the Bayern and Barcelona way but they are always positive in their approach. Theres several ways of winning but we are in the entertainment business and Morninho teams don't entertain. In fact take Hazard out of their team and they are boring as crap.
