Could be all but safe by midweek. 32 points if they beat West Brom at home which is about 5-6 off what they got whole of last season.

I'm pretty impressed by what Moyes has done there considering all the negativity last season and pre season when they sold Diangana.

They mugged the win v us but been impressed with their level in many games this season and Burnley isn't an easy team to get 3 points off. Got a few more winnable games in next 6 weeks so not sure we'll be above them for a while.

Sold Diangana and bought Benrahma. Fans should wait until the end of the window before moaning. Remember when we signed Cash and then everyone was moaning we weren't doing business? By the end of the window, we've done the best business in the entire league.

Oh dear. How many hundreds of millions  are Gold and Sullivan worth again?

West Ham have sacked academy goalkeeping coach Jerome John over accusations that he bought equipment with club money with the intention of selling it privately.

Sportsmail understands that the decision to terminate John's employment was taken following an internal investigation at the end of last year.

The matter surrounds the order of goalkeeping gloves on the club's budget. West Ham believe he intended to sell the gloves privately. John was suspended pending club enquiries before a decision was made to dismiss the coach.

You should be allowed to steal from employers if they are rich lol wtf

Fair point yes, just seems a bit harsh to be fired for potentially selling some goalkeeper gloves that the employer paid for.
Maybe they wanted rid of him anyway and this was their chance.

They are quietly having a good season. They are in form and Moyes has them playing well. Soucek has been a great signing for them.

They are, I can't help but want them to fail though, I really can't put my finger on why but I really dislike that club.

They've had a good season, but they haven't been particularly impressive, as oxymoronic as that sounds. They've had the rub of the green in a lot of games like against Fulham and us among others. I'll give them credit though for being the kind of team that epitomizes that "keep it tight, stay in the game" philosophy. They're always in it.

Shows how badly they underperformed last year, maybe because of the negative atmosphere surrounding the club

hopefully they come back in at some point as start booing porno dwarf wolfie and the slag every Week again

One of the clubs benefitting from an empty stadium. Playing without the weight of the fans weighty expectations.

I can deal with fans pissing and moaning about us, it's what fans do. But how can anyone honestly disrespect Deano like that first guy? Maybe I'm wearing my Villa goggles, but I can't see any reason why anyone would genuinely hate the guy. Other than a bloser, of course.

They are going well after a bad season last year and are under the radar, a bit like us really, although they haven’t made as many big signings as we did.

I enjoyed their 3-3 draw with Spurs earlier in the season, really pissed on Mourinho’s chips and Spurs have let in quite a few late equalisers since 😁
