It all went downhill since Fabianski's injury.

It's amazing how one player can have such an effect on the whole defence.

Why bringing in Reina could be a masterstroke

Not going too well for David “All I do is win” Moyes is it.

He wins 42.10% of the time, all the time!

Like I posted in the general PL thread... I think that their fanbase has turned on the ownership. Pretty much wanting relegation for your own club is a very radical idea.

And if Moyes does get sacked again (who knows), who would they get in? Doubt Sam wants to go back considering some of the quotes that are out there surrounding his departure.

I'm sure he'd turn down millions of pounds a year in favour of a principled stance

Looking at their next 10 games I can't give them more than 8pts and that's being generous. That's wins at home vs Brighton and Southampton which I'm not even sure they'll manage

I thought the same about Southampton after they got pumped 9-0 at home. They are now well above us.

Still, I hope you are right.

You need 50% win rate as a minimum to even attempt that stat.

He doesn’t even win most of the time.

Sunday Supplement really put boot into them today.

They've still got a temporary training ground apparently. And they don't own their stadium. And they've got porn barons running the show.

Would really help us out if they could shit themselves over the next few months and get stuck to the bottom of the table.

The Irons I work with have been waving the white flag for weeks. They're not blaming Moyes but they fully expect to drop like a stone in the second half of the season.

I think that happened once they sold out to move to the Olympic stadium. There's no atmosphere in the ground any more and it's full of tourists. They are more like a franchise than a football club. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners wanted to change their name to the London Hammers.

I've seen a couple of their fans on twitter trying to work out the actual financial benefit of their move and on the face of it it's looking like not a lot

They got a 500million pound tax payer funded stadium for a meagre rent fee of 3million a season, they don't have to cover stadium upkeep or even security costs like match day policing, on top of that they sold the land the old Boleyn ground was on for £40million

For any west ham to moan about being let down financially by the owners need there heads looking at, the money hasn't been used wisely but they have spent big

Also worth remembering that while those gobshite owners were at small heath they constantly badgered Birmingham council to build a stadium for the common wealth games that they could conveniently move into.

I didn't go in to crazy amounts of depth on it but there was a figure of £2.1m being banded about, I think that was the monthly profit they were making at upton park, so to be better off now they would need to clear at least £5.1m a month (and then pay that rent) and basically they're not or they're only just doing it, so with that in mind giving up upton park and being gifted the stadium that none of them like is not a good deal for them, I haven't been myself but it does look like a shit stadium for football and I didn't see anything to suggest the club has addressed the issues from last year (where they made only a small section of STs a decent price and saw fans from all sections of UP suddenly sat together and not happy about it - anyone from the holte end whos sat next to someone from the trinity at Wembley will know what I mean)

then they go a bit man utd, their owners take the cream out which the fans hate, especially when they were too tight to build their own stadium (references to spurs comes up a lot) or training ground but I completely agree on the playing staff side of it, they've spent big money badly
