I can see the anger but a mature way to do business with a protest

We didnt invade pitch when protesting Lerner and worked well for us

Lerner could never be arsed to turn up though

I think they lost part of their identity when they moved to Olympic stadium and no ones feeling well about it and it feels like the stadium not for them but for other events. I think if they go down they will be in world of trouble they wont come back for a long long time so i would like to see that.

There was a supposedly a march planned, then the board had a shady meeting with the group planning the march (which seems to be a fairly far-right, hooligan group) and suddenly the march was off with this fan group now threatening to attack anyone who marched, whilst they also went on odd political rants about "leftists" and "antifa". I think someone linked an article from the Independent about it a couple pages back, it's a pretty interesting read about how dodgy the board have been in effectively trying to silence the fans.

Yes, the pitch invasions aren't going to help, but what else can they do when it seems the board pretty much bribe fans not to protest?

Having said all that, as much as Gold and Sullivan are knobs, the coin throwing is completely unacceptable and dangerous.

I honestly didn't realise that there were that many proper hooligan types out there and they were that organised. I'm not suggesting they represent anything but an absolute minority of West Ham fans but they clearly have a influence if they're meeting with the board.

I'm completely ignorant to the issue, would Villa have equivalent organisations? You never hear any discussions on here about them. The Randy Lerner protests were organised by respected members of the community on VT and other well known, respectable individuals. It never seemed intended to be intimidating or nasty to me.

Those West Ham fans on Saturday were like a pack of wolves baying at trapped prey. It was unpleasant to watch.

We would have beaten them 4-1 then?;)

And to think that the rent they pay actually goes down if they get relegated! Ridiculous deal.

I get where they're coming from to and extent. But we showed it can be done in the right way.

I want my money back

I reckon the bribed hooligans that called off the march and threatened the leftists will be supplying the security at the stadium very soon.

Something very dodgy about the whole episode Saturday they were not playing too bad and only went 1-0 down with 30 mins to play or something not actually a time to invade the pitch and kick off.

Would not put anything past those porn barons.

Hopefully they go into the bottom 3 and then west ham will show their true colours,  start ripping the ground apart would be good to see them do for definite,  fighting amongst themselves is a must really and making it so toxic in the stadium only the idiots are left.  If it goes well it will be 80 % empty by the end of the season with only relegation after relegation to look forward too.  This should put off the younger generation who will only travel to see the athletics on a Saturday now and then because their wily word removed cockney ways cant get them past the Oyster card machine on the tube the words removed no matter how much cockney twitching they try.

words removed.

I don't read it but an old copy of the sun was in the canteen at work, did anyone see that sickening Brady article? About how 'when you move home you need to decorate it in your colours so it feels like home' etc. F*** off love you've been given a free athletics stadium, it's not yours to do what you want with. The arrogance of this tin pot club is baffling

Aren’t they just lovely. The gift that keeps on giving.

Aren’t they worth hundreds of million plus? Why risk breaking the law to avoid a relatively small sum of money.
