A lot of the blame for that lies with Disney and EA who wanted the game out before the Force Awakens, so they could cash in (which is a bit mental, because well it's fricking Star Wars and that's a license to print money anytime!) it was a shame, because the whole game including all the content that should have been available at launch was a cracker imo, but so many people were alienated at launch it lost a decent amount of the player base.
