VillaChris Posted August 14, 2015 Share Posted August 14, 2015 New striker has always been a priority, I think with his debut goal last week people were getting a little carried away thinking Gestede would just replace Benteke all on his own. It's always been logical to me to get two in to share the burden and I can't quite believe Adebayor was the only option especially as Kozak isn't obviously rated and could well be moved out. I agree we need a new striker but what we saw from a not yet 100% Gestede we saw many a times from Benteke. Only takes 1 suspension/injury and we have no option on the bench. You dont need 3 deepish midfielders every game.
