Unity Engine!

What's not to like, eh? I Must admit I do struggle with the traditional stats systems these old school RPGs use, but for an RPG like this to look this nice and be so much fun to play, I think Obsidian have played a blinder. A studio that has a great track record...

just bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm completely in love with this. BG II is one of my all-time favourite games and after years of not being a very active gamer I finally decided to return to the classic D&D RPG style. Not disappointed one bit. Hoping that the rumoured third installment ever sees the light of day.

I really struggled with this, the turn based with pause system just doesn't hold up well these days IMO. I love the story and the writing, so I still put a good 25 hours in to it, but I came nowhere close to finishing it. The Divinity series are much my type of RPG, so I'm very excited about Baldur's Gate 3.

It's a bloody bargain to get it free though!
