islingtonclaret
Isometric! Baldurs Gate team! Unity Engine! What's not to like, eh? I Must admit I do struggle with the traditional stats systems these old school RPGs use, but for an RPG like this to look this nice and be so much fun to play, I think Obsidian have played a blinder. A studio that has a great track record...
osmark86
just bought this a couple of weeks ago and I'm completely in love with this. BG II is one of my all-time favourite games and after years of not being a very active gamer I finally decided to return to the classic D&D RPG style. Not disappointed one bit. Hoping that the rumoured third installment ever sees the light of day.
bickster Posted December 13, 2020 Moderator Share Posted December 13, 2020 This was one of this weeks Epic freebies, so I just started playing it today. Liking it so far, very old school RPG
Davkaus
I really struggled with this, the turn based with pause system just doesn't hold up well these days IMO. I love the story and the writing, so I still put a good 25 hours in to it, but I came nowhere close to finishing it. The Divinity series are much my type of RPG, so I'm very excited about Baldur's Gate 3. It's a bloody bargain to get it free though!
