Benteke at his magnificent best, if only we had taken some of the other chances.

 

Not sure who to blame defensively, Richardson is in no way a left back, so not sure why Sherwood felt the need to bring him back for Lowton.

 

I think having two midfield players as wing backs is costing us.

Phillips owning Richardson in the second half got them a point today.

 

KR was our achilles heel tonight, and not for the first time either I'm afraid.

If Sherwood picks on performance he shouldn't EVER pick Richardson again - not even for the bench! Absolutely shocking performance tonight and cost us three points in my opinion.

Thank God for the beast of Benteke otherwise we'd be pretty much staring relegation in the face right now.

I think we'll go to Spurs and get a positive result.

Didn't like the team selection when I saw it because I thought we were going to play a straight 4-4-2. With Bacuna and Richardson as fullbacks that was not looking good. Instead we played with a diamond where Sanchez sat in front of the back four and was very good as DM. Very good first half and we should have finished the game there. Second half QPR subs and change formation and control us better and could have stolen the game if it wasn't for the genius of Benteke.

 

Gil would have been a better sub to bring on than Cole.

MOTM, well we all know who it was.

This is one of the games we had to win. Now we get bummed by Spurs and the slippery slope into the relegation zone begins again.

Don't know how to feel about it. Happy we didn't lose, gutted we didn't win.

 

Don't think Sherwood is the man to take us forward. Pissed off that Gill didn't come on. Getting stupid now.

Knew picking Richardson would be a mistake. Was very poor for their third goal. But what a game. Benteke was an absolute beast (also my FF captain )
