Xela
Always had dogs in the family home when growing up. When they passed it was very hard and as my parents were older, they still wanted a pet but didn't want the commitment of a new puppy at their age so they took in a couple of rescue cats. The 2 soon grew to 5! Sadly one died of cat cancer but the other 4 are great. They all have their own distinct personalities. As for me, I'd love a dog but can't commit to having one, with the hours I work. It just wouldn't be far.

Marka Ragnos Posted March 29, 2015 Author VT Supporter Share Posted March 29, 2015 Brittany? Springer? Jazzy's a Springer. Nice. They are lovely dogs. We are friends with one that my pup plays with sometimes. The breed end up in rescues a lot in the States because people are idiots.

Rob182
I've always liked both dogs and cats, but lately I've definately become more of a 'cat person'. I have 2 cats: Scrappy (named that because he was found in a scrapyard (or Cradley Heath gypsy camp, to be more accurate)). Edwin, who we got from the Cats Protection in Birmingham. They named him Edwin, and we liked it. Also, as my girlfriend has moved in, her pet chinchilla Howard has also moved in (named after Howard Moon from the Boosh). Lately, a 3rd cat has turned up, and we can't seem to get rid of him. Our cat flaps aren't locked, and every morning we'll come downstairs and he'll be asleep on the settee. Annoying.
Popular Post tonyh29
We now officially own the cat that kept turning up at our house and I kept carrying the 1/4 of a mile back to his proper house every few days .( turns out the cat next door had been terrorising him ) We'd agreed temporary ownership of him in case he ever wanted to go back home but last night his owner came around to say they were moving next week and wanted to see what the best plan was going forward. I think her original plan may have been to take Bart with her as there would be no Nazi cat at her new house but when she saw the countless photo's of him with the kids and drawing the kids had made of him she bade him a tearful goodbye and asked us to take good care of him (Just as well really as the wife and kids are currently in Hungary and I'd have had to say he got run over or something had she taken him) was proper wobbly lip stuff , but I managed to hold myself together
