Looked like he was absolutely shitting himself on the touchline waiting to come on

I can't even imagine what I would have been like at 16 in that situation. Wouldn't have handled it as well as he did.

Great for the lad though. Bet he can't believe it.

I'd shitting myself more at my age if I was asked to go on. :D

Apparently the 4th youngest ever Premier League player so I'm guessing he's our youngest?

Saw it on twitter but cant remember exact figures

Gareth Barry - 16 years and 280 days old

RHM - 16 years and 34 days

Our youngest debutante by about 200 days

These are the exact numbers

Gareth Barry made his Premier League debut for Aston Villa v Sheff Wed on 2/5/98. He was 6277 days old. Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is 6020 days old.

So who are the 4 players who were younger than him in the premier league?

I can only see Matthew Briggs as the youngest, 16 years and 65 days, so he was older than RHM if the age above is correct?

great moment for the young lad, shows Sherwood has faith in youth as well as ive seen other managers in similar situations putting another lad on with more experience. was a good run as well he had which won a free kick

The first Millennium player (born after 1/1/2000) will be coming in the next 18 months probably.

If that dosen't make most of us on here old I'm not sure what does!

I was out boozing Millennium eve! Now i feel very old...
