What is Sherwood's neck thing all about?

He's a psycho. The commentator here in Iceland said when he did it a second time: "No. No, not again Tim.".

I don't even care.

Pleasing performance in the main, dogged by bad luck and moments of dodgy defending and attacking play that occasionally lapsed into low tempo old habits.

Odd that he chose Grealish over Gil, but it worked out (just about!).

Having been great all game, Hutton let himself down with what really should have been a red card tackle though.

I'll admit there was a split second after the pen went in I thought I was going to shed a tear. I'd forgotten just how much I care.

Crouched behind the sofa for that penalty and I've just woken my 4 month up from his sleep screaming but never mind!

Those finishes don't happen to us. I can't remember the last game we have won like that.

We've waited long enough and make no mistake we were owed one.

That was the best way we could have won that match and we deserve to go down if we don't use the impetus from it and pick up a few more.

Guzan - 6: Did ok but i'd prefer Given in goal at the moment

Okore - 6: At fault for their goal but atoned for it with a number of good blocks

Clark - 7: Concrete Clark

Hutton - 6: Stupid booking but he played mostly well

Lowton - 8: Our best defender

Delph - 6: Did ok, not amazing but didn't make the dumb mistakes of late

Cleverly - 7: If he continues like this I hope we sign him

Westwood - 6: Did enough

Zog - 7: Best game in a Villa shirt in a very long time - presume he was only subbed as he was knackered?

Gabby - 7: The real Gabby stood up.... finally

Benteke - 7: Aside from the flick on he did little but lets face it that and the penalty still made the difference

Subs: Bacuna 5
Grealish: 7

Weimann: Don't think he touched the ball?

We showed so much fight, I am actually proud of the players for a change!

My whole body is tingling like i Just came up off a double drop.

My God did we deserve that. Finally a pen! Finally a last min winner. Finally a performance from Gabby! Did you see Tim Sherwood praying and the celebrations.

I love you Villa lets do these mugs on Saturday too and lets just save our season and regroup for next.

And Tekkers celebrate ffs! Who are ya Balotelli?

Ahh, the old double drop...know just where you're coming from and share that sentiment ;)

Great result and a much better performance. Really pressed WBA and no surprise a Pulis side scored from a free kick. We bossed the game for the majority. Delph, Lowton and Cleverley were excellent. Would start Grealish in the next few games. Adds class to the team.

Checking his pulse, think it was his way of saying "we're still alive".

Great game to watch, a bit nervy but great. I'm so glad Tim has got them fighting. I'm over the moon, I thought Gabby and Clarke were outstanding and Grealish looked really good when he came on, and settled into it the more time he was on the pitch. Seeing him constantly calling for the ball and trying to take a shot at goal cheered me up. Well done lads, the fight back has started. UT f****g VILLA!!!
