wedge
Ideally VP should be nearly full for this! Arguably a more important match than the cup game.
supernova26
Midweek TV game with the much more appealing fixture on Saturday. I'd say 29,000. Edited March 1, 2015 by supernova26
Rugeley Villa
you will be looking at between 34 and 37k.
Brumstopdogs
33k
vivahate
Tickets for the cup game are selling like crazy. Expecting around 39 - 40k for that one. Around 29 - 30k for this one.
pacbuddies
There are thousands of seats still available on the 'select a seat' option. This game will be far from a sell out.
wedge
Embarrassing.
Rugeley Villa
the cup game alone should sell out with ease but its always been the case at villa.
VT Supporter Stevo985 Posted March 2, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 2, 2015 The cup game really isn't selling that well. Got my tickets on Saturday and there were absolutely tonnes left. Looks a bit better now but highly doubt it'll sell out
villa89
Ideally VP should be nearly full for this! Arguably a more important match than the cup game. It will be far from full and there could be a lot of WBA fans in home seats as they savour their chance to send us down.
VT Supporter Stevo985 Posted March 2, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 2, 2015 They'll already have an allocation of 6,500 too. Should be a good atmosphere to be fair
markavfc40
I can understand why some fans are staying away but this club needs us now. I believe a full Villa Park right behind the players can have a positive effect. If anyone can only make the one game due to financial reasons then make sure it is the league game as it is way more important than the cup game. I am going to both but if I had to sacrifice going to one it would instantly be the cup game.
AvfcTheObsession
If the online seat plan is accurate then we are looking at around 30k for this game I think. Very poor for a derby, however I think we will see a big crowd of circa 40k for the Cup game. Although as Mark says above, for me the league game is more important and I'd rather win that one of the two.
Hev
League game far more important than the cup in my opinion. Can't believe though that both aren't a sell out! The team really, really need us behind them - now more than ever
VT Supporter Stevo985 Posted March 2, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted March 2, 2015 Yes but quite often the team needing us, and us actually wanting to go, are two opposing things
AvfcTheObsession
I think expecting a sell out for the league game is a bit much, even when we were top 6 I think it was a game we'd get 39-40k for. Over 35k would be respectable for the league game.
Paul33
Holte is virtually sold out for the Cup game as are several other areas ..... that one will sell out and soon if/when we win on Tuesday. Tuesday game looking around 35k-37k in my opinion.
grobs
Really is looking embarrassing for this one. Surely a club of our size should be getting people through the gates.
Rugeley Villa
its been the notion for decades that we should get more through the gate, same as leeds when they were in top division.
mattyvilla
The reality we have been poor at home for too long , being a night game and the weekend game all having an affect on attendance tomorrow , but several times on here this season ive seen people who didnt go to the game come on and moan about the attendance , rather amusing sometimes
