The Tim Sherwood Thread

14 goals in Sherwood's nine league games here. 12 goals in the previous 25.

Tim is right. If we can tighten up on the errors a little, we should have more than enough to get some good points in our last 4 games (especially with 3 of them at home).

And beyond that, it shows we don't actually need any really major surgery in the summer

Keeping Benteke and Cleverley will be a great start. With the emergence of Jack and the returns of Libor and Gardener we have the makings of a good team.

Sherwood will need to judge if the defence needs new faces or just better drilling.

We won't get very far if we go on leaking totally stupid goals like we did today.

Agreed,  He needs to start by dropping Guzan though.

Under Lambert this season we won 7 games out of 28 (win rate 25%)

Without Lambert we've won 6 games out of 12 (win rate 50%)

Also:

14 goals in 28 games with (0.5 goals per game)

20 goals in 12 games without (1.6 goals per game)

Sherwood has done a magnificent job so far all things considered

Needs to sort out our defending at corners. Liverpool had 3 free headers from corners last week which they easily could've scored from.

Man City score from a corner today and Clint Hill gets his first Pl goal from a corner against us.

The improvement in nearly all areas has been remarkable.

We look a completely different team. Exciting, fast one touch football. Love it.

He'll be our manager for the next few years at least and it's gonna be fun and exciting.
