Villan4Life
What's the betting that Gabby or Delph will fall out with Tim first? He will have the balls to drop Gabby or sell if he causes trouble.. Just don't think they will get on!

packoman
OS Aston Villa Football Club are delighted to announce the appointment of Tim Sherwood as our new manager. Tim, 46, joins after a long and successful coaching career with Tottenham, culminating a short but successful period as manager, and has agreed a contract that will see him take charge until the end of season 2017-18. The club are excited to have secured the services of one of English football's most highly sought after managers. Tom Fox, Aston Villa chief executive: "Randy and I are really pleased that Tim has decided to join the club. "Tim had a fantastic career at Tottenham, not only in his brief spell as first-team manager but, just as importantly, in the role he played in developing young talent. "We are determined to build a football operation with a long-term vision and a commitment to youth development. "We strongly believe Tim has the qualities to get the best out of our current squad and help us build and develop for the future." Tim Sherwood said: "It is a great honour to manage one of the biggest clubs in English football. "I can't wait to get started and I'm really looking forward to the challenge." Villa chairman Randy Lerner commented: "While being forever conscious of the frustrations that we all suffer, we feel that a change that offers a positive, fresh approach will be very good for the club. "I know that Tom and many others at Villa worked very hard to recruit Tim in the face of severely limited time constraints and pounding pressure. "More importantly, I know further that internally we remain focused and committed to challenges we face, and I am deeply appreciative for that." Morley_crosses_to_Withe
I look forward to players like Gabby, who've been stealing wages, getting a boot up the arse and dropped to the bench.

Mantis
There isn't a fan on here that has got a clue, as to whether Tim Sherwood will be a success or not. and that includes me. so, to keep talking like its a bad appointment is ludicrous. None of us know, what will unfold. It's ridiculous to come to conclusions already on what will happen (few have done that anyway) but I don't see anything wrong with people giving their opinion on whether they think this is a good or bad appointment.

Popular Post Qwpzxjor1
Love how people regularly complain about young English managers not being given a chance, and then comments like I've seen on Twitter (and to some extent, here) Yes, the situation is not ideal, but when is a new manager coming in ever not a critical decision. Last week I said I wanted anyone but Lambert, I've got that, and I welcome a younger, attacking minded manager, and he has my full support.
