The response in the 2nd half was fan-flippin-tastic.  I know, I shouldn't, but that was down to Tim's words in the dressing room.  The change was evident.  Tim likes to play attacking football and that there ladies and gentleman is an insight into the type of football that we'll be set out to be playing.

much better second half and if we play with more positivity we might actually stay up. Cleverly needs to be removed from the team ASAP and gabby needs to come in for Weimann. I wouldn't get carried away but some good signs.

May be it really shows we can do that at home against lesser team if we can up the tempo and get a few bodies forward. More set piece practice would be ideal. And I will have no objection if shay replaces goose on recent showing

Winning aside, one of the best things for me about today were the smiles. Faces on that pitch that have looked worried, confused, whatever all season, were looking energetic, happy, excited.

We looked like we were enjoying our football.

Clark: 8 - Some incredible tackling, just needs to learn how to clear up field instead of slicing it behind for corners

Vlaar: 7 - We've missed his composure

Cissokho: 6 - decent if uninspiring

Westwood: 6 - Looked the most dynamic in midfield

Cleverly: 6 - Awful first half but better in the second

Delph: 6 - Needs to do more

Bacuna: 8 - His movement and effort make him someone who must start every week, great goal!
Weimann: 5 - Fluffed only chance
Benteke: 6 - Starting to look his old self, still needs to improve
