A small flurry of transfer activity, a win in the FA Cup and a couple of goals at home might have lifted the black clouds for a moment but Aston Villa are now snowed in with nowhere to go. Paul Lambert presided over another Villa embarrassment on Sunday, returning from the Emirates with nothing to show for the trip but a 5-0 humping.
