Genie
Max Chilton says he has put his name forward to drive for Haas gp next season I'm sure if they want someone to linger at the back of the field a second slower than your closest competition you'll be first in line max. What he really meant was that his Dad has agreed to fund his seat so depending on just how strapped for cash they are he might get a drive.

AVFCDAN
I have it on good authority he is pushing for Manor as they are looking the better prospect for next year! He's struggling to take Will Stevens seat though.
villakram
Manor have merc engines next yr, could allow them to genuinely challenge midfield, and if HAAS manage to integrate correctly with Ferarri's help, it should make things much more competitive next year
choffer Posted October 1, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2015 So, given McLaren's admission that they were 3 years behind the curve, HAAS and Manor with good engines, should we expect that JB will be bringing up the rear next year? BOF Posted October 1, 2015 Author Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2015 It's definitely possible. I really hope Honda's legendary engine development abilities added to what they've learned this year will make huge strides. They do after all have the biggest gains to make, being much earlier in their development process. In that sense if they're not cut adrift then it could be the most competitive midfield in a decade with no obvious mobile chicanes pootling around at the back. choffer Posted October 1, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) ...... with no obvious mobile chicanes pootling around at the back. I thought Max was going to be driving for Haas? Edited October 1, 2015 by choffer
AVFCDAN
Definitely going to be a packed midfield next year. Could be a vintage year to be fair with Ferrari having another chance to catch up with the mercs. Bound to be closer next year.
Lichfield Dean Posted October 3, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted October 3, 2015 (edited) So I am off to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix then. Very excited. Obviously the season will be most likely done and dusted by then, but still... Woo! Edited October 3, 2015 by Lichfield Dean Spelling
