We still desperate for the player whose intention was not to play in the championship? Yes a real miss. That kind of attitude would have really helped us this year. Fair enough. Just had a look. I do find it amusing how they played 3 decent sides, didn't lose any. He comes back in the side and they lose 3-1. They were in 17th position with 2 wins, 4 draws and 7 losses and a point above the relegation zone on November 28th. Until that point Gil had barely featured playing 57, 68, 17 and 22 minutes in a total of 4 appearances. People writing him off for being average for us in our worst ever side is hilarious. In that time we have had some of the worst managers in football..(who don't even have jobs in management). Yes he didn't want to be here as he suffered confidence issues and wanted to return home and rightly so. If he stayed he would have been professional and played his best but he was good enough to get a move.
