AVFC Season Review - Youtube

Recommended Posts

I've found a user on Youtube called Villa Boy who has all the old season review DVDs/VHS uploaded.  I started watching from Brian Little's first season up to Graham Taylor taking over.  Some great memories.   Not sure if the defending has gone much better or we were just a better team but we seem to play some great football.

A few notes:

- Merson was fantastic in his first few years

- Why did we not sign Carbone?

- We had so much flair under Gregory

- Joachim was under rated

- Lee Hendrie could've really been some player

- Poor Luc Nillis.  What a signing that would've been

- Stan Collymore - what a waste.  Showed glimpses of what a talented player he was

- Alan Wright - Mr Consistent

- How good was Angel in the air

- Dublin was great in the box

- Barry oozed class from a young age

Donkeys years.   I was at that game and the atmosphere was incredible.   It was a bloody good Ajax team, they had Suarez and Huntelaar up front for crying out loud, and we thoroughly deserved to beat them.

Sorry for digging up an old thread but I've been watching these season reviews the past few weeks and they do bring you back! Some great moments and great players.

Does anyone know where I can watch the season reviews from 2006-2010 online? They don't seem to be on youtube.

Villa Boy has also uploaded another great match -

Happy memories, God how we miss players like Laursen and Milner now. It's a disgrace to think we've got Richards and Westwood instead!

Think they might forego that this season and just make a bloopers video.

Until that comes out here is the last one from the A-League

Some of these guys would actually improve the current squad though tbf...
