markavfc40
With Richardson back from suspension I would be disappointed but not surprised if Lambert played him in place of Delph. Personally I'd like to see Bacuna come in for Delph, Grealish in for NZogbia and Gabby in for Weimann. DCJonah
We robbed them at their place and i'm sure they'll want revenge while trying to impress a new manager. 2 wins in 15. We need to win this one.

pacbuddies
I would say 'a must win game' but feel as though I would be just repeating what has already been said hundreds of times over the last few years.

Pardew set to take over as new Palace manager. We have an excuse now. (Did we need another one?)
The Fun Factory
Win for Villa. We can't lose to Palace 3 on the spin can we ? They are shitter than us and hopefully will get relegated. Lets see how 'amazing' their support is when it drops to 15,000 back in the championship.

Pardew set to take over as new Palace manager. We have an excuse now. (Did we need another one?) Well as he is still the Manager of Newcastle that's not likely to happen before Thursday but if we don't manage to get someone sent off then I guess if it transpires that an excuse is needed after the game then the good old faithful 'Lerner hasn't financially backed him' excuse could be trotted out (it always seems to pacify some). Personally I believe we have the players to win the game if not the manager with the right nous.
OutByEaster? Posted December 29, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 29, 2014 I'm not sure about must win. The league is dreadful this year. What sort of league allows a team as bad as we've been to be in a relatively comfortable position at this stage in the season? It's not right. I can see us winning this one and being well on the way to the 36 points that'll keep you up this year. I think we need win three of out remaining nineteen in order to be pretty much safe. foreveryoung
Lambert will get it if we don't at the very least score in this one, if we lose it'll be 'Lambert out' all over again.
OutByEaster? Posted December 29, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 29, 2014 I agree, I think things'll be pretty angry if we don't score in this one.
VillaChris
Well after what we did at Selhurst the Palace defence will be petrified everytime Benteke picks up the ball 30 yards out with a bit of space to run into so I'd be amazed if we don't score in this one. That's if we can actually get any sort of decent ball up to him, we live in hope.
Biskitt
----------------Guzan Hutton---Vlaar----Clark----Cissokho ---------------Sanchez --Bacuna----Cleverley-----Grealish ----------Gabby----Benteke That would be my team as well but in a straightforward 4-4-2. Palace play with 2 quick out and out wingers so need to make sure our fullbacks have got some protection but also need some width ourselves too

BleedClaretAndBlue
This has the all too inevitable feel about it. Similar to this fixture last season. 0-1.
AValon
Never mind the win......a goal would be nice! Sick and tired of having the cleanest nets in the Prem.
DCJonah
Grealish could be the difference for us if he gets a chance and benteke is due a goal.
