Only the second time I have been to Villa Park this season, having given up my season ticket as didn't want to see crap football week in, week out. Dare I say it, but we look worse.

 

 

 

The first visit for me.....the rest Ditto.

Hopeless at set pieces, poorest delivery of the ball i have seen from any team this year and the most frustrating thing from all of it was the fact we had at least 4 players having a go..........pick one.

 

Sort the delivery out in training and stick to the plan ffs. Grealish was by far the best at corners, caused havoc when he came on but even then he never took them all, another of our players fancied a go and ****ed another delivery up, yet  again.

 

Its this sort of poor organization that Lambert should be sorting out, its not a new thing its been the same for well over a season. 

 

The rest of the game was very predictable.

I'd like to see us go 4-4-2 against Palace with Grealish and Nzog wide, as both did ok and actually want the ball.

Sanchez and Cleverley in midfield, Benteke and Gabby up front, we have got to have a go.

I decided to do some research because I'm pretty sad. Turns out 37% of his competitive games whilst at Villa have seen us fail to score.

 

11 this season in 20 games so 55%

 

17 last season in 41 games so 41%

 

12 his first season in 46 games so 26%
