Seems like Lamber has opened a lot of Fake VT accounts..

anyone got the shots on target stat ? - bet it was 3 ......tops

/Edgy. We get it.

The save against was top class. We had two very clear chances that went just wide in the first half too.

The shot Bacuna had vs United wouldn't count as a real chance either because its not a shot on target. **** Lambert and his fake VT accounts!

Last 10 minutes just proof that with no decent CAM and Benteke in the team, we will win games if we just hoof it up to him. Passing out the back pointless if you're just going to get to the final third and lose it.

Ref utterly shit. Benteke petulant little baby at times but I'd still sell my left nut for him to stay.

Don't understand what Benteke was moanin about with the grealish cross. There was nothing else Grealish could have done and if Benteke or someone else had bothered making a run to the near post we might have scored.

Yeah. And whilst I appreciate the second ball from Weimann was awful, his reaction was worse. And the first one just prior to that would've been the ball of the century from Weimann and it was unrealistic to expect him to dig out the pass under pressure whilst barely in control of the ball.

I don't blame Benteke, but he clearly clearly thinks he's way bigger than us. Which he is unfortunately.

can we just cut and paste the hard luck comments into the sunderland post match thread.  The swansea keeper hardly had a save to make

Although he did make one world class save and a couple of good uns. There are goals in this team, I think. If we play like we did today against Sunderland we'll beat them. That said, if we play like we did today against Swansea, you'd have thought we'd have beaten them.

Not point scoring - but you honestly see this team scoring lots of goals ? - I can barley think of anything more unlikely.

Lack of composure from the likes of Gabby, Andi and Cleverley. Most of our attacks were undone simply by poor ball control, even allowing for the conditions.

It was interesting seeing the role reversal with another team sitting back defending a 1-0 lead. Our lack of a set piece specialist and/or creative midfielder really cost us big time.

That said, we were the better team and probably didn't deserve to lose.

Strong comeback from Okore 2nd half and a big shout out to Vlaar - Bony barely got a whiff of the ball all day.

Sanchez was my man of the match.

Need to sort out our creating chances, 3 shots on target is not going to be enough. Our goal scoring record this season is not good enough and despite our play getting better, this stat isn't, which is a real worry

Lots? No. I'm not under any illusions as to our lack of creativity on the flanks or through the middle, but I think we can score enough to see us through games like this and the one in a couple of days time. We've been awful at times this season, I didn't think today was one of those times. Today was frustrating and I can see why you're annoyed at it, but I think there was enough there to suggest we can win the odd game.

Fair enough having a bit of a moan for the Wiemann cross because Wiemann should have done better but I agree with you about the others. Nothing much else Grealish could have done and for Wiemanns shot he had a right to shoot and it would have been a hard pass to take.

Worst thing is that a few minutes earlier, he took a difficult shot and missed when there was a better through ball available to Wiemann. If you're going to moan about someone taking a shot instead of passing then do the pass yourself

People keep saying that, but 18 games in and we are scoring at .61 goals a game, A goal every 141 minutes, piss poor by any standards.

We get a shot on target every 16 attempts that equates a shot on target every 31 minutes. I am impressed with the improvements in the last few games, but unless we focus on creativity in the final third the second half of the season will be the same.

I don't think we will go down, but it's going to be another frustrating season.

Oh, it was a stonewall penalty.

We need a spark in midfield or up front. 11 goals in 18 games is terrible, whatever way you dress it up. It's all very well playing decent but we need to score more.

Fair enough - I can see your point.

Mine is, we don't score many, usually concede at least 1 - if this keeps up - those 'odd' games we win might not be frequent enough. I fear for us if we don't buy a striker in Jan  (which I know we won't)
