To be honest, if we keep playing like that this year we should be fine. A combination of being terribly unlucky and poor refereeing kept us from getting a point from this.

Stonewall penalty not given, one top class save, and some frustrating play in the final third. We did not deserve that result. God I hate football sometimes.

 

Tactical gamble didn't pay off but at least Lambert saw the need to change.

Good performance and they were awful. Should've won it easily. Guzan really should've done better, shocking goal to concede. Ref did his best to ensure they could slow down play whenever necessary though.

Whilst I hate watching us lose, we played rather well there and didn't deserve to lose that... We played some lovely football at times and if we can carry on in this vein we'll win more games than we have over the previous few seasons, plenty to look forward to in the future... It was a pen though!

Poor first half. Much better in the second thanks to the change in formation. Liking our new style of play, we just need more creativity in the final third. Grealish looked good. Shit ref decisions. Let's smash Sunderland.

Hard to choose managers tactics, because first half they were crap, second half good. I thought we were truly awful first half but second half we were very good and unlucky to get nothing out of the game.
