Trapping the cats arm should be the least of their worries... anyone that keeps ketchup in the fridge needs to be sectioned!

We’ve done this one before. It says to keep refrigerated on the bottle.

It’s people ignoring these basic food guidelines that cause pandemics.

I don’t want to go over old ground then, however, following what a bottle tells you to do is just one short step away from doing what Trump tells you to do.

Why on earth would ketchup be stored anywhere except the fridge (once opened)?

Because if you mix salt, sugar, vinegar, preservatives and tomato puree together, the result is something non-perishable?

Be honest, you put your bread in the fridge don't you?

It's ok, we know it's not your fault that you had a traumatic upbringing.

Ketchup is for children, never bought it in my life.

Must admit, I very, very rarely use it. That's why it goes in the fridge, as a small bottle will be around for literally years. If I'm having a fried breakfast and I happen to be without fresh tomatoes or baked beans, I may have a small blob of ketchup on the side of the plate, for dipping the white part of the fried egg (and nothing else).

Oh wait - maybe once a year, for old time's sake, I may have (wait for it) - ketchup on buttered toast. An oddity that goes back to student days.

Think I basically agree with this, I very very rarely use it. Very much a brown sauce guy.

Tbf I'm pretty sure I've actually bought Ketchup once or twice. Only to have it sit in the fridge and thrown out when I moved.

I have a friend who have Ketchup on his pancakes :D

What kind of pancakes though?

if it’s the sweet crepe style You have on pancake day then that’s gross.

If it’s the American breakfast style you’d have with bacon and sausage then that’s fine.
