andykeenan Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 This will be show at 9pm so just before MOTD. Personally only watch Championship goals as bit late more so after an away game every other week. Could work out sure be better as well and format. Also Football League show on international weekends don't show games League 1 & 2 for fans in that league Channel 5 will The Football League is set to announce that Channel 5 have won the rights to show highlights from the Championship, League One and League Two, starting next season. BBC have previously held the rights, but the League has decided give them to Channel 5 after the broadcaster offered the chance to show the highlights at prime time on a Saturday night, Press Association understands. http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/dec/15/football-league-highlights-bbc-channel-5
Jimzk5 Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Or you could just tune in to ssn at half 5 to watch all the goals..... 1
The_Rev Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) If you have a Sky subscription... It's an interesting move, the BBC don't really know what to do with the show at the moment so it gets the graveyard shift. I can live with adverts for a better time slot. Nigel Posted December 18, 2014 VT Supporter Posted December 18, 2014 I agree rev, it will only be good for the programme and footy fans in general....as long as it finishes by 10.30 of course!
chappy Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Wonder if they'll take Manish. Combination of him and the way they tell you what is going to happen before you see it meant I rarely watched the football league show.
PompeyVillan Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 I like Manish but Claridge is a prized clart. I think this is a good move, I'm not sure the Mrs will though.
dAVe80 Posted December 18, 2014 Posted December 18, 2014 Football back on Channel Five? Oh good, the return of Colin Murray...
