Kingman
Is Hutton injured/suspended for this one, or have my fellow VT Members been on the Crystal Meth the weekend?

8pints
They'll hit the post nine times and have almost all the possession but then, in the 78th minute, one counter attack from us will result in the winner, before we nervously hang on for the remaining 22 minutes (Man U injury time taken in to account) 1-0 Villa Guzan Lowton Vlaar Okore Cissokho Bacuna Delph Sanchez Grealish Benteke Weimann
Demitri_C
God no team next week a massive thumping awaits as usual but at least we can say we have injuries when we get spanked! Im going to this game as well what was i thinking?
Woodytom
Our good form has stopped. It very rarely gets going again without a few defeats first. 2-
Grasshopper
Lambert will probably go Guzan Okore Vlaar Clark Lowton Cissokho Sanchez Delph Weiman/CNZ Gaby Benteke I would rather see Guzan Okore Vlaar Clark Lowton Cissokho Bacuna Sanchez Delph Weiman Benteke 3 at the back to cover their movement 5 in the midfield to try and compete 1 Weiman to run his B******s off 1 Benteke for a bit of magic Unfortunately I can't see us scoring past De Gea so it depends on how early they score to see how many they beat us by. nothing to lose though Edited December 15, 2014 by Grasshopper
ozvillafan Posted December 15, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 15, 2014 I hate them almost as much as Liverpool. I hate them more. There are no bigger glory hunting fans anywhere..... ... and this will be another stuffing, damnit!
BleedClaretAndBlue
Yeah theyre in good form, we will get turned over. There's not a bigger banker in football than Aston Villa v Man Ure. Ron Vlaar will want to impress his potential suitors and at least Delph is back. But Hutton is a big loss, we'll set up not to lose and will just have to hope for a 0-0. They haven't impressed me really this season but they are bound to look brilliant against us. As for Cleverley, who picked up his 5th yellow against the Boggies, does this game count as the one he is suspended for despite being ineligable anyway? F-87
Weird how Villa started so well and Manu were terrible... now it's a complete role reversal. If you'd asked me a while back I would have expected at least a point from this game. Now though... we gon get spanked (if I'm being realistic). However, UTV! Let's 'ave 'em! Bosnich Charles Southgate Ehiogu McGrath Wright Taylor Draper Townsend Milosevic Yorke 3-1 Villa. What a beautiful squad that is. Ahh memories. Richard
Is Vlaar allowed to play against them? Cleverley isnt.
PaulC
If only Richardson wasn't suspended, not.... Its no good us going there with a back 5, the one weakness United have is in defence, so lets go there and loose 5-3 instead of 4-0. Its a free game so lets give it a go instead of lying down and taking a beating like we do every season there. Yesterday if Sterling and Balotelli had of taken 50% of their chances Liverpool would have won. They are so open at the back, Edited December 15, 2014 by PaulC
Danny_Villaman84
-----------------------Guzan--------------------------- ---------Okore-------Vlaar--------Clark----------- Lowton----------------------------------------Cisso ----------Baunca-----Sanchez----Delph---------- -----------Weimann-----------Benteke------------ play Dutch play style in world cup. Lowton and Cisso got to running all up and down all day and Sanchez sit front 3 centre half, Delph and Bauca do Box to Box roles, Benteke in Target man we feed him cross much as Man Utd, Manchester United Centre half is quiet not good header and strenght which Benteke will MURDER THEM by air and hold ball. Wiemann do Work hard to pest defender might to open space for Benteke or himself. Vlaar Man Mark - last man and Clark Man Mark - Rooney, RVP last man mark, we play deep line, and we counter attack we will be fine.. would love westwood or clevery play in rather baunca but bauca is fast and average might easy pick him, required his pace in counter attack will very usefully and free kick specialist, corner. might throw Robinson in last 10 mins vs Man utd to learn how big club can affect him, big to learn that might movation him more better player ? i got felt we win this game .. somehow gut say we will win this match or draw.. ((if we dont get sent off)) Edited December 15, 2014 by Danny_Villaman84
Wainy316
I think we'll go down fighting. We'll take the lead as we always do against them. Last time we beat these at home in the league, the Spice Girls weren't even formed. Ridiculous!

AntrimBlack
I was so disappointed to lose at the weekend, what was a nailed on win. But this is Villa. Would not be surprised if we beat ManU. And definitely not surprised if we lose to them as usual.
The Fun Factory
I reckon we should go 3-5-2 Guzan, then Clark, Vlaar and Okore as the central defence, with Clark license to play more forward. Cisskoho and a recalled Bacuna as the marauding wing backs. A centre midfielder of Sanchez, Delph and young Grealish, with Gabby and Benteke up front. It's a bit of a risk to start with Grealish but on form he should be ahead of Nzogiba, and Herd hasn't played at all this season. We will stuff em. 3-0 Villa. Nurse more pills please. VillaChris
Lambert started mentioning 3-5-2 in the post match interview so a real possibility I think. For me Vlaar has to play and you don't drop Okore or Clark on present form. Not sure what the rest of the side will look like but at least then we shouldn't be 2 down in 15 minutes like we were against them last season which totally killed the game.
