I generally avoid Dylan after 'Blood on the Tracks'.

Wise. All the subsequent albums have their moments, but that was the last genuinely all-good one.

"Bringing it all back Home" was my favourite.

Tedeschi Trucks Band....."Midnight in Harlem".....check it out.

Derek Trucks does a great piece of slide guitar work, half way through....and his Mrs ain't bad either.

Wake up, don't cry, so sad inside,

I still get through the day, I'm going to make it anyway,

Wanna give up, feel like hidin', yeah I get down, but keep fightin'

I still get through the day, I'm going to make it anyway..

I know that times were hard, I know that you been feeling down, if you only knew how I'm feeling for you,

If i could take your pain, I wish I could wash it all away, if you only knew how I'm feeling..

Want to test how your HiFi deals with drums and bass? This is the track for you. There was a sound engineer in the '80s and '90s from Manchester, he worked live with all the Manchester bands from The Fall, ACR and through the Madchester thing, we shall call him Big Al (because that might actually have been his name). You knew Big Al was running the rig and the soundcheck had begun because this was his first port of call EVERY time. I asked him why and he told me that he thought the drums and bass were very cleanly recorded. It's true too
