KJT123 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 i normally get the train on match days but decided that I'm going to start driving to the ground now. What is the best place for car parking? Is it ok to park on the One Stop shopping centre in Perry Barr?
kidlewis Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 I need to park too. Normally quite a few schools and businesses near the ground as you come of spaghetti junction. Normally £5 per car.
ismail-villa Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 You can park in my driveway on Trinity Road for a mere £30. Just kidding no you cannot park here. But I wouldn't see the problem with parking at One Stop, just the walk to the stadium would be fairly long!
darrenm Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 IMO car wash next to the total garage. Quick enough out and not too far away.
KJT123 Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 IMO car wash next to the total garage. Quick enough out and not too far away. Do you have to pay? Looking on Google maps there doesn't seem to be many spaces, will it get busy?
Jimzk5 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Get to the big Tesco at the bottom of witton road, drive about 500meters down on the left is a school car park that costs £5, I believe this is opposite where Darren is parking, its about a 10 minute walk up to the ground but if leave at full time and stroll down it will take a good half hour to GE off the car park

Yep it's a fiver but you can get on the front of the grass and drive straight off the kerb at the end.Is parking at Tesco a no-go? Not if you don't want to be clamped. I suppose you could buy something before /after?
Jimzk5 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 The Tesco car park will be locked when it closes at 4, it ain't an option to park on there. If you get tempted to park on the side roads you will get clamped, you need a resident parking permit FO that.
mattyvilla Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 i park at king edwards £5 secure parking , not worth the risk of a brick through the window for the sake of a fiver
