Genie
Wanted to check something on the currys website and it told me I had to wait 12 minutes before I could. Is today the stupidest day in retail ever?
Dr_Pangloss
I was going to say, they've turned into animals, but even worse, they've turned into Americans. Anyone participating in Black Friday deserves to be uzi'd to death.

Xela
Uziing shoppers to death is a bit harsh. Surely we can use tasers to start with? Seriously though, the behaviour of some people in the stores and it makes you think! Animals! I can see the stores stopping doing these offers and just offering them online instead. ismail-villa
Does anyone know if the £25 away shirts are still available at the villa store next to VP? May pop in tomorrow.

tinker Posted November 29, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted November 29, 2014 Should have a yellow Monday, no one buys anything. Blue Monday I will go with that, "Blue Monday, buy nothing" . The manipulation of the general consumer is amazing, The "Mad men" of this world have turned a corner with the idea of a naming a day that triggers the consumer to spend spend

Popular Post leemond2008
I might go to tescos next year for it, not to buy anything but just to swing random left and rights in the middle of all the madness
chrisp65
I did really well. I just hung around outside Asda and whenever somebody came out with a telly I just smacked them in the face and took it off them. Shop smart.
dont_do_it_doug.
I've wanted a new TV for a while. Got £50 off a decent set and didn't need to leave the house to do so. Bang tidy. I think it's a good idea. People are always going to want shit, the cheaper the better. But it should be limited to internet from now on.

dont_do_it_doug.
If you don't mind me asking, what model tv and how much? Maybe over the next few days we can get close to the price you paid Sony Bravia - KDL42W7 for £399. From John Lewis so with a 5 year warranty (yes I know my consumer rights, but much less faffing this way!) Edited November 29, 2014 by dont_do_it_doug. PompeyVillan
Are the instore deals any better than you get online? Seeing people fight over buying a discounted 40inch TV makes me sad. I would bet every single one of those people already have a working TV.
PompeyVillan
Anyway I got myself a chromecast for £18 which is a good thing.
