maqroll
I'd like to think we'll get a little momentum going coming off a road clean sheet against an in form West Ham, but Southampton are very hard to score against, and we don't score goals at the moment. I think we'll lose this one, 0-2.
Kingman
Still of the same opinion... I think they will do to us what Rocco dose to the Eastern Europeans.
Rugeley Villa
draw at best but i can see southampton winning if im honest, 2.1 saints.

roonst83
Someone pointed out that as good as Saints have looked this season - and lets face it, they have looked excellent - they have struggled to beat (an in fact lost both of their games against) teams in the top 7. This suggests they can comfortably overcome mediocre teams...of which we are one, so it doesn't bode well. Hopefully we can continue to stop the rot and avoid defeat - pains me to say it but a draw would be a great result here. We simply do not create any chances and Saints will have a field day on our large pitch playing their fluid (true) football. Merson made a decent point on Soccer Saturday yesterday by suggesting that as we're a team who create so little great opportunities then why not use our best finisher in Darren Bent? I can see the sense in it, Gabby and Weimann do not do enough - Weimann especially when he's in any position other than up top. Bent could well represent our best chance of grabbing a goal if given a chance, and as it stands i'm all up for trying something new - because its just not working right now. Further to this, I was watching our subs taking shots against Given in the warm up before the game yesterday and Bent's finishing was second to none, Bacuna too actually. If we had Delph and Tekkers id fancy us to get something here, possibly a win as Saints are due a loss. But without them I can only see us fighting for our lives to get a point. our poor home form will continue no doubt. As you say, what we're doing isn't working up front, so something needs to change. I think Gabby is pretty much useless at the moment, so replace him with Bent and play Weimann behind him. Maybe they'll hit it off, and anyway there's no risk in trying. I'd like to try Bacuna too, but in place of whom? N'Zog?
AVFCDAN
Actually fancy us to get a win here, it's purely law of averages stuff. We're at home, we are due some kind of performance and they are seriously overdue either a bad performance or bad result. Yes they are much better than us but even the best teams slip up an they are certainly not on man city or Chelsea's level.
flamingsombrero
Got a sneaky feeling they may be kicking themselves at the end. Just a feeling though got nothing to back it up, by all rights they should steamroller us.
Rugeley Villa
if they play well they will win its as simple as that. draw at best.
BleedClaretAndBlue
Im going to predict 75% posession for Soton, a shot on target for us and a 0-3 away win. Lets see how accurate that is after the game. 1 goal in 8 games, 7 losses in 8. How can any manager survive that. If Benteke was available id be much more hopeful of a point or something, our side just has no goals in it. All we have is an overworked quality GK who im starting to feel sorry for.
