rjw63
I'm avoiding pain and trying to induce a miracle by not watching this game. So I can update everyone as to the corner count after 32 minutes of this game. It is: West Ham 8 corners, Aston Villa 0 corners. It's OK, WDFAFC
darrenm
Lambert's ineptitude is really on show when we occasionally get the ball in a forward position. In the last few minutes Sanchez and Cissokho have both had the ball in forward positions. Both simply lofted a ball into the box, overhit, metres away from any Villa players. What are they being coached to do? Do you think Lambert has them on remote control?

ismail-villa
If that was either side of the keeper it's a goal, good strike.

Genie
Keane on the bench is the equivalent of me turning up at work in my trackies and not even bothering to turn on my PC. Sat staring at everyone else going about their work and somehow not getting the sack.
juteface
Sanchez should probably have hit that but that run from N'Zogbia was decent.

OutByEaster? Posted November 8, 2014 Moderator Share Posted November 8, 2014 Good stuff that. The longer this goes without West Ham scoring, the more we can take a little of their confidence and add it to our own - and it's confidence, not quality that's the big difference between these sides. Gabby's been good today.

foreveryoung
There's proof the team can pass a ball. Just need a manager now to motivate them to play that way all the time.
ismail-villa
Come on Zoggy do what you did in Lambert's first season. Score from the free kick!
