Burnley have no money and a small support base, so Dyche has done a great job getting them up. No matter how good their history is, they are doomed. Hope that isn't the case for Villa as well. It looks like QPR and Burnley are going down so hopefully should be  at least 2/3 worse clubs than us and for once we should be looking for a solid mid table spot. Living the dream.

Burnley do have money, at the start of last season, promotion would have been a dream, but its come true, now they will be the thick end of 70million better off, take away their spending after promotion and other fees, they will get relegated with a wedge of cash + parachute payments to go with it

Its difficult for small town clubs like Burnley. They could invest all their sky money in players and increase their wage bill dramatically and still go down and then find themselves in a load of financial trouble. West Brom are doing pretty well to compete in the big time...

West brom are the exception to the rule, in past years, promotion meant spending the cash from the premier league in the hope that the club would stay up for a few seasons an and become a established team, now it seams promotion = spending a % of the premier league revenue and going down but still being better off financially off the back of it
