Popular Post mark_bennett
Just a message for all season ticket holders. Saturday 6th September is Non league Day. I wish to promote this for my local club Stafford who this Saturday are at home to Coalville Town in the Evo-Stik Division One South. They have decided to throw open an offer to those Barclay's Premier League and Sky Bet Championship supporters who have a day off from following their regular team. If you produce your Aston Villa Season Ticket card you get in for £5 (no concessions) For details about the Non League Day, go to -http://www.nonleagueday.co.uk/ Stafford Rangers are currently second in the league and attract gates of over 400. Thanks
chrisp65
I used to watch the occasional Stafford Rangers game back in the day! That would have been early to mid 1970's and from memory, they were pretty hot stuff back then.

heid3ster
I love the concept of Non League Day. Can't celebrate it here as my local amateur team only plays in the spring and summer.

Sounds like Villa. If only we could play during Autumn and Winter we might do alright.

GarethRDR
Hopefully Basingstoke Town can tie up the Ronaldinho deal in time for this.

AstonMartyn88
Off to Wycombe wanderers. Apparently the standard there is pretty much non-league
mikeyp102
Halesowen lost 0-1.... Probably the better side.... The Halesowen keeper is really mental shouting man on when no one near the defender and then telling players they have time when they don't. He then would tell te players to do something, they correctly did the opposite and he would then congratulate them and say see told ya.
chrisp65
About an extra hundred on the gate today, so that together with extra programme sales, goalden goal (the winner gave the money back fair play!) and all that a decent £600 / £700 extra in the coffers. Plus a win in sunny conditions with lots of good humoured shouting, a few goals, a sending off and a man playing the bugle might mean a couple come back for another dose. Moderator NurembergVillan Posted September 6, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 6, 2014 Paget Rangers FTW! It's non-league day every matchday here in Canada. Was going to try to start watching the Whitecaps but the standard of the MLS is absolute pony.
