JAMAICAN-VILLAN
Aston Villa are the favourites to capture the signature of ex-Siena andUdinese playmaker Gaetano D’Agostino. The 32 year old Italian international is currently a free agent after terminating his contract with Siena at the end of the last season, and is entitled to move to a club outside the transfer window.Tuttomercatoweb report that Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is an admirer of the deep-lying playmaker, and may make a concrete move soon. Also following D’Agostino are two unnamed Turkish clubs, so the English side may have to move quickly if they are to tie up the former Italian international. D’Agostino scored four goals in 16 Serie B appearances for Siena last season. http://forzaitalianfootball.com/2014/09/aston-villa-lead-chase-for-ex-udinese-midfielder/? I know nothing about this guy, saw links with him yesterday but since it's now on Forza Italia thought it might be worthy of a thread. (didn't know where else to put it). Pelle
My guess is he'll end up in Turkey, then. Doesn't sound like our kind of player I think. But then again, maybe on a one year contract.
Biskitt
He was class on Champo many moons ago, therefore, I know nothing either. Same, remember him being ace on Fifa10 ( I think ). Tend to find the foreign press have been more reliable in the past so might be something in this

PieFacE Posted September 4, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2014 Can't see this one coming off but I'd happily take him if the wages were right. Can't beat a bit of creativity, we have very little in the squad so the more the better.

Guest
If this does happen then I'd say the Joe Cole project didn't go right.

Pelle
Didn't we sign both Sutton and Agathe quite late? Don't think there is a final date for signing free agents. It wouldn't be really fsir to them, as long as they're free agents before the window closes if they couldn't sign for a new club, I'd think.
