rosenthal
Norway changed their coach a year ago, who try to get the team to have more of the ball than they are used to. Since the 90s Norway has layed low with the team and played counter, always a direct route. Now they aren't that far away from the tactics of Manchester City, a 4222. Two holding midfielder, and two attacking midfielders that can move both infield and out wide. Their results have been poor under the new manager, they dominate possession, but don't score goals and are soft at the back eventually leading to a goal or two against. Scotland, Denmark, Czech Rep have all been outplayed by this team, despite Norway not getting the results their performance have deserved. Star players are Mats Daehli from Cardiff and newly appointed captain Per Ciljan Skjelbred from Hertha Berlin, who are the two attacking midfielders. Also Omar Elabdellaoui is an exciting player, right full back, excellent going forward - not so much on the defence. Most of their players are a bit meh though. edit - looks like they've gone back a bit towards their traditional 451 with big nations England and Italy in upcoming games. vandaq
Tarik should let his younger brother play and King is a joke, the only reason I can see is that he plays for blackburn, nothing more. Agreed with dæhli and skjelbred being the "stars" though. Ødegaard and maybe grøgaard will be if they can make it. Heard nothing from vejabah at juventus. Sam3773
Not even the England squad care about England. Come to think of it, that's probably part of the problem.
VillaChris
Is Rooney even on the pitch? Can't say I've been that impressed with the OX playing out wide, think he needs to be played centrally.

Yeah they've started tonight with Joshua King who dosen't start for Blackburn so that tells you enough about their forward options these days. What happened to Abdellaou or whatever he's called, he scored a few in the Bundesliga didn't he? In the 90s of course they had Flo, OGS, Iversen and Carew as their forwards. Theo Walcott can't get off the wing at Arsenal for love nor money If I was arsenal I would see theo on the right and ox on the left as a problem, same as England when they play through right welbeck left, no balance, theo makes a run to the byline, striker to the front post, left winger... isn't at the back post because he had come central When we had young and downing we were very good at it, England are utterly clueless at it
