Hull players didn't seem to like Grealish, they were just clattering him at every chance.

Didn't see the are but sounds like good first half poor second.

We haven't been a team that can control a whole game for years.

Hopefully this year with a more solid defence our 1 good half will see us through more times than not.

Very pleased this win has come at home, will give the players confidence as will Gabbys goal for him.

I said we have to get a minimum of 6 points from our first 3 because of our awful September fixtures and we've got 7 so very happy!

I really hate to overhype our players as it tends to end in mediocrity but i genuinely think we might have a superstar in young Grealish.

Shame about the 2nd half after some top stuff in the 1st. The clean sheet record has gone but a great start to the season nonetheless , none of us expected 7/9.

We can sit happy for the next two weeks now and hope we regroup and come out fighting in what will be a very tough period.

The thing is their second goal was lucky, if that hadn't of gone it we would've played it out comfortably. Well done Villa excellent display.

Finished 1st half with 70% possession... end of match we were on 45%.

 

Pleased with the win, but we need to work on the whole "It's the 70 minute, let's all go to s***" issue.

The start that we needed considering the upcoming fixtures. There looks to be a buzz around the squad at the moment and some real confident performances which puts us in a much better position going into this period of tricky fixtures. I wouldn't be surprised to see us pick up a few cheeky results in the coming month. Feeling positive.
