jonno_2004
Once Man United have realised we aren't going to pay his wages, they'll go for the next best option - get him off the wage bill plus a loan fee - which is what is about to happen when he signs on loan at Evernot in an hour or so. He will then surely sign a pre-contract in 6 months time. This has worked out very well for the blue side of the scouse land.
Brumstopdogs
Please walk away. The last thing this club needs is a cocky arse from a complete failure of a season at utd, to come here and harm the status quo. Does he not like their music?
theboyangel
If he's more interested in making a quick buck instead of reigniting his stuttering career - good luck to him. It's just not going to happen here. I'd rather have a player who wants to play than line their already bulging pockets further. Wouldn't have minded this move, he would have been a useful acquisition but if he's more interested in money then he can do one. this is the problem with modern day footballers (and their agents)
bojong
I wouldn't label him cocky or a**hole even if the wage demands are true. We don't know how he sees the situation, how badly he wants to leave. And how much he really has to lose here? Even if he won't play too much he still won't be in any worse situation in January or next summer than he is now. He's not necessarily desperate to leave and what's wrong with trying to get as good deal as possible?

Bunnski
Agent Edward @Agent_Edward 4m Aston Villa are upset with Tom Cleverley. The club feel he has mislead them & now miss out on other targets.
El-Reacho
Cleverly not going to Everton either now apparently. Going to sit for next season playing with under 12s. Greedy bastard.
Bunnski
Greg O'Keeffe @GregOK 5m At this stage it's looking like #Everton have failed in their bid to get Tom Cleverley on loan. Seems like that's it for this window. #EFC
jacketspuds
If Everton get him on loan they can pay his wages of 80k/week for the year for 4m. Still less than the 7m we offered for a transfer. We should have tried to loan him in.Absolute tosh. Not really tosh. It's a fairly accurate statement. So you'd spend half our reported budget on laoning a player who would then more than likely join another club for free? Eh? 4m on a year long loan or 7m plus 1.5m a year wages for 4 years. So a total of 13m. Doesn't seem to be too much difference to be honest and who's saying he wouldn't sign for us after a year anyway. It's irrelevant now. Folski
As I said Evans played more games and scored more goals than him in the year he won the league. Money hungry talentless fool. Delighted we aren't getting him.

Bunnski
INCOGNITO AVFC @INCOGNITOAVFC · 4m Unfortunately, events haven't gone well 2day.A deal was agreed in principle but wages became a massive issue after compromise was made.#avfc INCOGNITO AVFC @INCOGNITOAVFC · 2m Obviously there are a lot of disgruntled fans. At the time of previous tweet, a deal was pretty much complete. Well, we believed so...#avfc INCOGNITO AVFC @INCOGNITOAVFC · 1m Things can changed rather quickly in football and in business. thunderball
Better off without him if that's his attitude. Obviously doesn't yet realise he is a failure that's why he is being shown the door, could have re-established his reputation at a level better suited to his ability. He needs to adjust first, better off someone else having him on the rebound.
