Our record against Alan Pardew teams is shocking....

05/06

West Ham 4 Villa 0
Villa 1 West 2

06/07

West Ham 1 Villa 1
Charlton 2 Villa 1

10/11

Villa 1 Newcastle 0

11/12

Newcastle 2-1 Villa
Villa 1-1 Newcastle

12/13

Newcastle 1-1 Villa
Villa 1-2 Newcastle

13/14

Villa 1-2 Newcastle
Newcastle 1-0 Newcastle

So that's 1 win from 11 games against him as a premier league manager and he's hardly been managing the elite.

Still recent history suggests this will either be 1-1 or 1-2. I'll go for 1-1.

Were we so bad last time the barcodes beat themselves?

We've got a pretty poor record against Newcastle since they came back up - something like 1 win, 2 draws and 5 defeats. Then again, we had a dreadful record against Stoke too. I'd play Sanchez for this if he's fit enough to allow Delph and Westwood to get forward more.

Given that Pardew fancies himself as a bit handy on the sidelines, what do you reckon the odds are of him getting decked and than taking a shoeing off the dynamic duo?

I know it's wrong, but I'd be glued to that and applauding like a skinny seal at feeding time.

Came here to float that idea.

Pardew can't control himself on the touchline, and with Keane being as barmy as he is, all sorts could occur!

I'd bring Sanchez in for Gabbo and get him to squash Cabella.

Agbonlahor, Bacuna and Grealish as impact subs. Obviously this depends on how the game goes.
