Lowton will step up and better perform once Lowton replace hutton.. also Lowton better understanding with Benteke, but defensive he is poor which need match more to get experince as he is only 23/24 (i think) he is still young for defender peak. (26-32) **Sorry about ((name(or)name)) as i dont sure which better in some roles, need more match before pick with STRONGEST One**. rodigan Posted August 14, 2014 Share Posted August 14, 2014 for saturday, i would line up as follows guzan hutton - vlaar - okore - cissokho westwood - delph - KEA zoggy - bent - gabby subs: given, senderos, herd, richardson, weimann, grealish once we get sanchez in, cole fit and tekkers and libor back, i think our strongest XI is something like this: Guzan Hutton - Vlaar - Okore - Cissokho Sanchez Cole - Delph Zoggy - Benteke - Gabby In that situation, our squad depth is actually good (by which I mean better than last year) across all positions: GK - Given RB - Lowton, Bacuna, Herd CB - Senderos, Clark, Baker, Herd LB - Richardson, Bennett, Stevens MF - KEA, Herd, Cole, Westwood, Grealish, GG, Zoggy Wings - Richardson, Weimann, Grealish Str - Kozak, Bent, Weimann, Robinson The more I look at this as a squad, the less the sense of forboding overwhelms me, particuarly with the thought that we may see one or more of our front line strikers back in September.... This is what I would probably choose also when everyone's fit, but Weimann could be swapped out for Kozak, or Bent, or Gabby, just depending on form, injuries, etc. Grealish/Richardson and N'Zogbia on the bench if we need to switch to a wider formation. I think that midfield four could do really well together, finally a little bit of balance. Sanchez the enforcer, Westwood and Cole to maintain possession, Delph to drive forward, Cole to find that final pass. When Cole is inevitably injured, N'Zogbia can play there too, but he's not as good at keeping the ball. Please let's just get Vlaar, Delph and Grealish signed to new contracts now!
