abdomlahor Posted January 26, 2017 Share Posted January 26, 2017 Not sure. I think the Italian game suits him a bit more where the game is a bit slower and more tactical. His problems always stemmed from him not being afforded as much time on the ball as he expected. I wouldn't want him player as a central defender in a four man defence and I don't envision Bruce employing a three man defence just to incorporate him, especially as we've just bought a new right back. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

VillaChris Posted May 6, 2017 Share Posted May 6, 2017 Is the fee 2.5m then? We signed him for that amount or thereabouts so not a player we lost a huge amount on for once. Think we want about 5m for Veretout, not sure how realistic that is but he has had a good season in France.
